We start the trip while we already are on top of the mountain and head west. We cycle on the old road that winds its way over the mountainside 1000 meters above sea level. We cycle through old tunnels and experience the art of old days road construction. The ride is an easy one and fits all.

Halfway we enjoy the scenery of the mountain peaks called Hurrungane (higher than 2000 m.a.s.l.) and part of the world longest fjord, the Sognefjord. In this scenery we enjoy our picnic. We serve homemade lunch with local food depending on what's available. This could, for example, be reindeer stew.

The ride takes 4-5 hours depending on the number of stops. You will need a mountain bike. Bring extra clothes.
