RIB to Arnafjorden - Finnabotnen - Kvamsøy
See all dates and details for this experienceAbout this experience
Join us on a rib tour to Arnafjord and the Stølsheimen National Park.
Travel with us to Arnafjord and Finnafjorden - a green and rich part of the Sognefjord.
We pass beautiful waterfalls, especially in spring and early summer. From the boat you will be able to see the farm "Bungane", almost 500metres above the fjord.
On our way to Arnafjord we also pass Nese - a small place where one of Norways largest natural disasters happened in 1811. Along the shoreline you will see farms and beaches without roads, a tell tale sign you are in a Norwegian fjord landscape. Finnafjorden is part of the Stølsheimen National Park, and one of the more beautiful, yet hidden and less visited fjord arms of the Sognefjord. At the very end of Finnafjorden, we reach Finnabotn, a small paradise on earth, with dramatic and step mountain sides on three sides.
On our return we will cross the Sognefjord over to Kvamsøy, considered the smallest island in the world with its own church.
