We pack the fishing gear and pump air into the tires and spend the day on the dirt road into the valley of Valdresdalen on Filefjell without meeting a single car (and perhaps not a single person).
We finish the uphills at the start of the trip and after that the terrain flattens out. We adapt how far we go to your wishes and the shape of the day.
At a fishing pond we find the fishing rods and try to trick a mountain trout or two. If we get fish, we prepare it for lunch. There is little that beats freshly roasted mountain trout! If no fish, we serve a home-cooked lunch with local ingredients, depending on what is available. This could, for example, be reindeer stew.
If you want to and we have time, we can also include a hike to a peak along our way.
The ride is between 20 and 40 kilometers. You need a mountain bike for this tour. Bring extra clothes.
PRICE: 990,- NOK per pers. (min. 2 pers.)
Included in the price: Local guide and storyteller, bicycle transport, fishing licence, snacks / easy lunch.
